Certina DS Rookie Chronograph

 

The case, in stainless steel with a black PVD bezel, measures 40mm. It has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters. Dials come in black or in mother-of-pearl white. 

 

Movement is the Swiss quartz ETA caliber G10.211. It is available with a steel bracelet with black PVD inserts or in a rubber strap.

MSRP starts at 445 Swiss Francs to 565 Swiss Francs.

L&B Schaumburg Watch AQM III Diver

The case, available in stainless steel, or in black PVD, measures 44mm x 15mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 500 meters. It features an internal rotating diver’s bezel. 

 

Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW20 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours. It is available as a COSC-certified chronometer version as well.

Red Sea Watches

Based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, this American brand was started by Josh and Troy, a couple of Midwest guys with a dream to make their own watches.

Their first production pieces are the Holystone and Six Pounder, both limited editions of 150 pieces (75 in stainless steel and 75 in black PVD) for a total of 300 watches.

Holystone

The case, in stainless steel or in black PVD, measures 44mm x 14mm with 22mm lugs. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 300 meters. It features blue LUM-TEC luminescence, as the company has partnered with Chris Wiegand of LUM-TEC.

Movement is the new high-beat Japanese automatic Miyota caliber 9015 with 24 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. MSRP starts at $565, and the PVD version at $595.

Six Pounder

Inspired by the pirates’ name for cannons, the Six Pounder features unique hands that replicate a cannon with lumed cannon balls. The specifications are the same as in the Holystone.

Antiquorum Offers Outstanding Collection of Timepieces in First Auction of the Season

An impressive selection of over 300 exceptional timepieces will be offered in Antiquorum’s first sale of the season. The highlight of the sale is the extraordinary Jean Dunand Grande Complication in platinum. Produced in 2005, this unique timepiece is an exceptional water-resistant wristwatch with one-minute flying tourbillon minute repeater, oval button split-seconds chronograph, register, bi-retrograde perpetual calendar, and leap year cycle indication.

Other highlights include:

An exceptional Breguet “Tourbillon Skeleton Perpetual” in the sale. Produced in 2008, it is a rare and important limited series platinum cased wristwatch with skeletonized pink movement, visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and perpetual calendar with retrograde.

Another outstanding Patek Philippe included in the September auction is the Patek Philippe ref. 3971. Produced in 1990, this exceptional 18k yellow gold wristwatch features a round button chronograph, registers, perpetual calendar, and moon phases.

The
Richard Mille aficionado will want to bid on the Richard Mille, “Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph – RM 011”. Produced in 2006, it is a rare and very unusual, tonneau-shaped and curved, self-winding, water resistant to 50 m, 18K white gold and titanium wristwatch with square button fly-back chronograph, registers, annual calendar and oversized date display.

For the military buffs and Rolex collectors, there is a Rolex”British Military”Submariner, ref. 5513. Produced in 1972 and issued to the Royal British Navy in 1976, it is a rare center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel military diver’s wristwatch with fixed bar lugs. Accompanying the watch is an Army Diver’s Log Book, 4 black and white photos of diving activities, service guarantee from Rolex UK, dated January 25th, 2010 along with correspondence confirming the delivery of this watch to the British Ministry of Defense in 1975.

The dial is carbon fiber and it features a larger chronopusher start/stop button.

Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
