JeanRichard Manufacture for Rafale Boats

Established in Saint-Nazaire, the centre of naval construction, Rafale Boats designs and builds high end semi-rigid boats. JeanRichard has partnered with Rafale Boats and have perfected a system making it possible to integrate a wristwatch into the console of a boat.

Their development teams worked together to design an aluminium case that is inserted in the instrument panel of the Rafale R7.0 boat model. A removable cushion allows the watch to be easily clipped on and unclipped. The owner can therefore wear his watch on his wrist on terra firma and can fit it to its holder when in the cockpit. The time can be read through a transparent window.

Technical Specifications – Diverscope JR1000

The case, in vulcanised rubber-coated stainless steel, measures 43mm. It has a bezel, crowns and caseback in done in black PVD treated titanium. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire.
It is water resistant to 300 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic JeanRichard in-house caliber JR1000 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.
