Red Sea Watches

Based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, this American brand was started by Josh and Troy, a couple of Midwest guys with a dream to make their own watches.

Their first production pieces are the Holystone and Six Pounder, both limited editions of 150 pieces (75 in stainless steel and 75 in black PVD) for a total of 300 watches.

Holystone

The case, in stainless steel or in black PVD, measures 44mm x 14mm with 22mm lugs. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 300 meters. It features blue LUM-TEC luminescence, as the company has partnered with Chris Wiegand of LUM-TEC.

Movement is the new high-beat Japanese automatic Miyota caliber 9015 with 24 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. MSRP starts at $565, and the PVD version at $595.

Six Pounder

Inspired by the pirates’ name for cannons, the Six Pounder features unique hands that replicate a cannon with lumed cannon balls. The specifications are the same as in the Holystone.
